ABOUT ME
I graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University (Bloomington, MN, USA) with a doctorate in chiropractic. I was then convinced to move to Winnipeg, MB, Canada, which is not much different, but still completely different from the small farming community in west central Minnesota where I grew up (Morris, Minnesota, to be exact).
My first chiropractic adjustment came at the ripe age of two days old by my dad while was in his final term of chiropractic school. When we were sick, we were
adjusted, when we couldn't sleep, we were adjusted. Sprained your ankle? Get adjusted! The answer to many (but not all, of course; luckily my grandfather was a medical doctor) of our ailments was an adjustment.
I went to Bemidji State University (Bemidji, MN, USA) and earned an AA degree in liberal education and obtained a coaching certificate while focusing on my pre-requisites for chiropractic school. While there, I competed in NCAA Division II Track and Field.
I spent about two years waiting to be approved to practice chiropractic in Canada. This gave me the opportunity to obtain my CrossFit Level I certification and Yoga Sculpt certification through CorePower Yoga. I coach at Undefeated Crossfit and I taught anatomy for five years at Robertson College.
I love all things wellness, which is why I focus on more than chiropractic and exercise, but nutrition, as well. I truly believe that overall health begins with the food choices we make every day.
I would love to be part of your wellness journey. Please don't hesitate to contact me and I'll do my best to take care of you or give you better direction!
